All new alarm systems must be registered with the City of Clearwater within 30 days of installation.

There is no fee for permit registration.

The renewal period is based on permit permit year (set to the original registration date). Permits will renew annually at no fee. It is the alarm owner's responsibility to make the appropriate changes/updates to their permit online or by calling the alarm department (888) 865-9770.
